How to Order.

In order for us to confirm the price we will need to know the following information:

If you already have gate posts in place:

  • Overall width of gate opening
  • Overall height of gate (to highest point of the design)
  • Whether the gate will be hung between posts or on the face of posts
  • Which side the gate will be hung (based on entering the property)

If you require gate posts:

  • Overall width of opening

OR

  • Your preferred total opening including post width
  • Overall height of gate (to highest point of the design)
  • Whether the gate will be hung between posts or on the face of posts
  • Which side the gate will be hung (based on entering the property)

Prices are for guidance only and based on softwood and/or oak as described.

    IMPORTANT NOTES

     

    Please be aware that when making made-to-measure gates the appearance can differ to those shown. For example, where there are bows or arched features these will need to alter to suit the revised height and width to ensure they are in proportion.

     

    Without exception all gate sizes displayed within this website refer to the physical dimensions of the product and DO NOT refer to the opening width into which they will fit. For a single gate this is measured from the widest points. In comparison a set of double gates are measured from widest point to widest point when placed side by side touching each other.

     

    Finally with regards to the heights shown within each product description they will always refer to the physical height of the gate and as such you will need to make the necessary allowance for ground clearance.
